What are some good meteorology books to pick up?
Looking to pick up a few meteorology books at Borders but I don't know what would be good for someone new to it like I am. I'm very interested in meteorology and would love to learn basic and intermediate stuff. Any book suggestions would be great. :)

- This site will show you some MUST HAVE Meteorology books. I don't know if any of them are at Borders but it's not hard to look =]: http://www.amazon.com/Must-Have-Meteorology-Books/lm/1IZB95A7TFZ1C
- I don't know your level of knowledge but if your are at the high school or even slightly younger level, and just learning basic meteorology, I would suggest starting with the two Jack Williams weather books. If you look through those and find them too easy, then maybe trying one of the general meteorology books used in beginning meteorology classes at the college level, such as Atmosphere, An introduction to Meteorology by Lutgers, Tarbuck, and Tasa. If that is too easy then you are ready for the books they use in college meteorology degree courses. See your college adviser.
