Why are there only 4 meteorology schools in Florida?

I live in Manatee county and the schools are 150 + miles away. Are there any online schools? Will there be schools built soon that offer meteorology? Why's it all in one area and not spread out?

1. only 4? are you kidding? grow up. pack you junk up and go live on campus just like everyone else. no, there are no online schools for that and if there were, the degree you'd earn would be of little to no value.
