Career In Meteorology

Is it possible for me to switch to aerospace engineering in grad school from meteorology?

I am currently a senior in college at Texas A&M. I will be graduating next May with a B.S. in Meteorology and a minor in both Math and Oceanography. I was wondering if engineering grad schools would accept with with no engineering background. I have a 3.95 going into my senior year.

  1. i think so. Im taking forensic engineering at the moment and i did a course on computers and i got accepted. I live in england though the rules may be different in texas, but i doubt it. Im sure it does not matter what you studied as long as you have the grade, i rekon you they would accept you but would probably accept people trained in enginnering before people that are not.
  2. Yes, it is possible. But you might have to take a few undergrad courses before you start taking the grad level courses. The best thing you could do is to contact the engineering school and ask for their requirements to enter their program. Some schools might not take non-engineers but I know a lot that do.
