Career In Meteorology

What do airmen in the military (air force) do?

Simple as that. If I were to enlist in the air force, what would my life be like? Do I actually go somewhere and fight? Would I even be trained to fight or is the air force strictly a force through the air? If I wanted to go to college concurrently, how would that work? Is there any way to be in the air force but practice my career? I am majoring in meteorology and want to be a meteorologist for the air force. What are the chances of that and is it even possible? How does that work?

  1. Have u tried doing your own research? theres a website called airforce.com that talks about all the opportunities in the air force. You don't just join, you usually take a test called the asvab and see what air force jobs you qualify for. then you go to BMT, ( bootcamp) ,you learn how to live , breathe , and be an Airmen. The air force does a lot of things. They do have combat troops who fight, but they are mainly special operations. at BMT, you will learn how to fire a weapon. There are MANY opportunities in the air force. If you are interested in meteorology , look up the air forces weather apprentice jobs.
