  3. Here is a link that you should take a look at: http://www.ametsoc.org/curricula/ This link will take you to a site that is owned and updated by the American Meteorological Society.
  4. To see the entire list of school offering undergraduate degrees in meteorology or atmospheric physics visit the American Meteorology web site at: http://www.ametsoc.org/amsucar_curricula/curriculaAlpha.cfm The pull down menu on that page (click on the down arrow next to the view school) has all the colleges and universities offering education in meteorology. The AMS home page has a lot of info for anyone thinking about a career in weather.
  5. Check your question "University?", I gave you lists. ;) In the United States: http://www.ametsoc.org/amsucar_curricula/curriculaState.cfm http://www.nssl.noaa.gov/faq/schools.html I'm guessing you're just interested in the US since you mentioned South Dakota before, but just in case: UK: University of Reading Australia also has a few schools that do meteorology but I don't know which specific ones. I personally recommend Valparaiso University near Chicago, they are getting a lot of new equipment and have some of the best faculty around. It is strictly undergrad so they are focused on the students much more than schools with grad programs. Other top-notch schools are Penn State and U of Oklahoma.
  6. the university of Kansas!!!!!! that's where i am going now for meteorology. some places it is called 'atmoshperic science' (like at KU) that might help you see more options.
