Career In Meteorology

Is there a way to get a job related to meteorology with a Computer/Electrical Engineering degree?

I've always been interested in meteorology but there are no degree programs in my state (Virginia) so I pursued my next hobby/interest which is computers. I'm about 2 to 3 years away from getting a Computer Engineering and possibly an Electrical Engineering degree also with 15 more credits but I'm not sure yet. I am wondering if there is any computer related jobs you can get related to meteorology or any such work? I searched google, NOAA, NWS and couldn't find anything. Anyone know? I can't get a degree in meteorology, maybe online in the future but don't see it happening in the next 8 years. Anyone know?

1. Head to your local weather company and check would be my best bet! It's important to pursue your dream - if that's meteorology - go for it! It would be an interesting career in my opinion, and cool to do! Good luck!
