What computer science field will best go with an Atmospheric Science major?

I am going to major in Atmospheric Science, most likely meteorology...and If I were to pursue this career what computer field will best go with this area of study?....like computer graphics, programming, what do you think?...whats the best computer science field to go with Atmospheric Science?

1. What kind of software and tools do meteorologists use (besides the obvious ones, like web browsers and word processors)? Talk to those companies and look online for open reqs to see what skills are in demand.
2. Programming. You will probably work with models and simulations of the weather etc.
3. Numerical analysis and alogorithm development will match best.
