Career In Meteorology

What should I do for my career?

I am a freshmen at college. I did not know where I should go, or what to study, so I am going to a community college for a year. My family is telling me to go into finance, but that is not what i am interested in. I have always been interested in weather. Everywhere I go, I will look at the 10 day forecast, and I am amazed with some of the things I see. Should I study meteorology? Where could I go to study meteorology in the United States or in Europe?

1. You can study that anywhere - look into meteorology class offering as well as atmospheric sciences and broadcasting. Keep in mind that it's a very limited field so competition is tight. Do what your heart tells you to do - doing what others want you to do for the rest of your life is not a formula for happiness. hope that helps
