Can you call yourself a doctor with a degree in meteorology?

1. There are physician doctors (MD or DO) and scholarly doctors (PhD). When you have one of these degrees, then you can call yourself a doctor.
2. All PHD's are doctors....so you just need you undergrad, masters, then PHD in meterology.
3. yea if you have a PH.D in meteorlogy. you can call yourself Dr. when you have a PH.D in anything.
4. Only if you have a Ph.D. If you merely have a bachelors or masters in meteorology, then you may not call yourself a doctor. (This is true across all academic fields, with the exception of the medical field. It has its own rules about who may be called a doctor and when.)
