Career In Meteorology

What are the best schools (worldwide) to pursue an undergraduate meteorology/climatology degree?

I do not want to pursue a physics degree first as i am not doing Physics for A levels. (I do Bio, Chem, Geography). I would really prefer to get right into meteorology. I understand however that i WILL have to endure physics courses, but i prefer to start specializing at once. any advice on what university to attend?

  1. In the USA, a majority of meteorologists nationwide went to In the Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pennsylvania. Their website is www.psu.edu. Look on their website for the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, then the Meteorology program. Penn State is a very large state-sponsored university which is also famous for partying; their football team is usually well-regarded and each weekend almost the entire campus parties. There are of course some famous scholarly professors there and some students study. Since so many meteorologists in the USA graduate from there, the program is apparently excellent.
