Career In Meteorology

What job in meteorology would you recommend?

I know i have to go to uni first but what job in meteorology would you recommend and where would i apply for it.

1. a weather forecaster, good money. Get degree from uni and then subscribe to met magazine where those jobs are advertised. good luck

Meteorology jobs - basically looking at weather forecasting or research: forecasting at professional weather centres, at airports, in the media research in government organisations or Universities OR teach/train others in meteorlogy. In the UK, start with the Met Office at www.metoffice.gov.uk they are normally keener on physicists/mathematicians/computer scientists then they are in people with meteorology degrees.
