Career In Meteorology

What college has a great meteorology/climatology program?

i want to go to college and get into meteorology. i live in northwest indiana. everyone tells me Valparaiso university has a good meteorology program, but i want to go at least out of state. Can someone help me find a good college to get my degree and what it takes to be a meteorologist?
