Career In Meteorology

What is a weather (meteorology) job like in the Air Force or any other military branch?

am leaning towards crosstraining out of my Air Force job and into the Weather Apprentice job. The long tech school doesnt bother me at all...I like school. What is this job like? What do you like or dislike about this job? What should I know about the job? PLEASE NO WEBSITES...I want info from people...I have already checked all the web sites on weather.

1. the airforce are the ones that have the weather folks for all of the services, when I get weather to fly it comes from the airforce, the weather folks I have talked with absolutely love their job, and don't really have any major gripes
