Career In Meteorology

What are some good meteorology colleges?

I need a list of some good colleges that offer meteorology as a major and have an Air Force ROTC as well. I thought about University of Oklahoma but my parents said it's to far away. Can you give me a list of some that are in driving distance from Long Island,NY? Not to commute there but if they want to visit me they can drive there. Thanks.

  2. Well, I don't know of any schools off the top of my head that would be what you're looking for. However, I'll refer you to the following sites: http://www.srh.noaa.gov/jetstream//nws/careers.htm http://www.afrotc.com/colleges/detLocator.php I recommend cross-referencing schools that have both a meteorology program and an Air Force R.O.T.C. program. You should be able to find something that works for you.
